This month we'll be working with Multi-Part, Trim in the Hoop Applique. The designs this month are what I call Split frames, usually found with Letters, this design type as an upper and lower section with the middle section open, providing space to add a name or saying. I've used a Halloween theme to create the Split Fames; the designs have between two and ten applique parts. These designs are a fun seasonal decoration for Tote Bags, Garments, and Home Décor.

Hi I'm PJ
Since 2006 I’ve been a teacher at Montavilla Sewing Centers in the Portland Metro area. I design, produce and teach the monthly projects for Babylock Serger Club, Janome, BabyLock and Brother Machine Embroidery Club, and 8” Block of the month Club.
I have a lot of fun creating projects, designs, and patterns that incorporate techniques and products to encourage the students to get the most out of their Sergers or Embroidery Machines.
